A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE EMERGENCY IRRIGATION SYSTEM REPAIRS AT LYNWOOD
CITY PARK AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR DESIGNEE TO MAKE
THE NECESSARY FUNDS APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER
WHEREAS, the irrigation system at Lynwood Park was not operating properly
resulting in damage to the turf area throughout the park, which required emergency
irrigation system repairs; and
WHEREAS, said emergency repairs were authorized by Section 6- 3.13,a.1. of
the Lynwood Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the repairs is $40,000; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified un- appropriated Los Angeles County Park
Maintenance Funds that can be appropriated for this repair work.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the emergency repair of the
irrigation system at Lynwood City Park.
Section 2. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer:

Section 3. This Resolution shall take immediate effect upon its adoption
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City Council
Resolution.
