HomeMy Public PortalAboutMinutes - 9/13/1971��11 The Wellsburg Town Council met in regular session on September 13, 1971, with Mayor Ross presiding and all councilmen present. Minutes of the August meeting were read and approved on a motion by Eckhoff, seconded by Claassen. Carried. Harold Fisher, Gene Blythe, and Alvin Blythe met with the council to discuss the proposed plat to be known as Blythe's Addition to the Town of Wellsburg. After considerable discussion, the council saw no reason to alter proposed plat. Written protests to the 1971 Curb and Gutter assessments were sub mitted by Ha��cald Fischer, administrator of the Joe Eygabroad Estate and by Dr. C. C. Graham. After reviewing each protest, on a motion by Huisman, seconded by Hippen, the protest on behalf of the Eyga broad Estate was allowed as per state law and the protest of Dr. C. C. Graham was overruled and the adoption of the revised final schedule was approved. Motion carried. The treasurer's report was approved as read following a motion by Eckhoff, seconded by Claassen. Carried. On a motion by Claassen, seconded by HuismaM, the following bills were allowed for payment: Aeilt Terfehn, net salary ��393.24 Herman DeVries, net salary 393.24 Henry J.
