Carried. Moved by Van Deest, 2nd by Cordes, to buy three new radios for an amount not to exceed $2200 for the fire department with the stipulation that such an amount wall be made available when the fire department agrees to buy a new radio for the new ambulance. The four units to be bought and installed at the same time with the city's share to be paid from revenue sharing funds. Moved by Cordes, 2nd by Bausman to sand blast and tuck point the front of the library building upon a written contract with Tharp Tuck Pointing and Glater Proofing Co. in the amount of �275. Carried. Moved by Van Deest, 2nd by Cordes to approve the renewal of tree beer and liquor license for th.e AmVet Club. Carried. Nineteen residents living along First St. appeared at the meeting in regard to future plans for curb 8: gutter along said street. City Engin- eer Ryken was present to discuss with residents and the council the feasibility and cost of such a program.
