GREENCASTLE COMMON COUNCIL
SPECYAL SESSION
TUESDAY, JUNE 20, 2000 7:00 P.M. CITY HALL
The Greencastle Common Council met in Special Session Tuesday, June 20, 2000, 7:00 p.m. at
City Hall. Council President Tom Roach called the meeting to Order. On the Roll Call, the
following were found to be present: Councilor Roach, Councilor Hammer, Councilor Crampton,
Councilor Liechty and Councilor Rokicki. Mayor Michael was absent.
Councilor Roach welcomed Councilor Joe Liechty as the new Fourth Ward appointment.
CT Jones discussed a Park Claim to Cox Electric in the amount of $3,380.00 to provide and
install AMP and CD player with music, paging hour and desk microphone. CT Jones stated that
per local Ordinance 1998 -4, this should have been purchased as a Capital item not as a Supply
item. Councilor Roach suggested since this is a local ordinance and he is sure the vendor wants
to be paid that this claim be passed as presented CT Jones stated a memo was sent to the Park
Board notifying them this should have been a capital expenditure.
Motion to approve City claims was made by Councilor Roach, seconded by Councilor Rokicki.
Vote was unanimous.
Being no further business, Councilor Liechty made the motion to adjourn, seconded by Councilor
Rokicki.
