A SPECIAL ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP FOR A CERTAIN PARCEL
FROM HIGH INTENSITY INDUSTRIAL (I2) DISTRICT TO INSTITUTIONAL (IS) DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Zoning Map designates certain property commonly known as King Cemetery at the
western end of NW N Street and north of the Norfolk and Western Railroad and legally
described as follows, to wit:
See Exhibit "A"
as a High Intensity Industrial (12) District; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to change the above described real estate's zoning designation to an
Institutional (IS) District in order to allow the correction of the zoning so that it is
consistent with the current land use and allow the owner to expand said real estate as a
Cemetery.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the zoning designation for the above described property is changed to an Institutional (IS) District.
Passed and adopted this4.J day of /Z, 2012, by the Common Council of the City
of Richmond, Indiana.
