AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CERTAIN PUBLIC
STREET WITHIN THE CITY OF IONA, IDAHO;
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBING THE SAID STREET;
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND DELIVER ON BEHALF
OF THE CITY A QUITCLAIM DEED CONVEYING THE
VACATED STREET TO THE OWNER OF THE ADJACENT
LAND, AND NAMING IT; PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE
DATE OF ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF IONA, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1. Vacation or Easement. A portion of a public street located across the
frontage of Lot 4, Block 5, according to the original plat of the Village of Iona, Bonneville
County, Idaho, is not used or needed for public purposes. This street is particularly described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. Pursuant to the provisions of Idaho Code Sections 50-311
and 50-1325, as amended, this street is hereby vacated in favor of the adjacent landowners
named in Section 2 of this Ordinance.
Section 2. Execution of Quitclaim Deed Authorized. The Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized and directed to execute and deliver a Quitclaim Deed conveying said vacated
easement to the following, namely:

Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, execution and publication in the manner provided by law.

Beginning at a point that is S00°14'20" E 94.40 feet along the West line of Olsen Street
from the Northeast Corner of Lot 4, Block 5 of the official plat of the Village of Iona,
Bonneville County, Idaho recorded February 19, 1963 and running thence S00°14'20" E
225.60 feet along the East line of said Lot 4; thence S85°48'28"W 308.31 feet; thence
N00°37'32"E 160.37 feet; thence N85°48'13"E 150.00 feet; thence N00°37'32"E 65.49
feet; thence N85°48'13"E 154.90 feet to the point of beginning.

Enclosed is a copy of ordinance 137-11-08 vacating a public street within the City
of Iona. It came to my attention that I needed to forward this onto you for assessing
purposes. At the time of passing the ordinance, I had been on the job for one month and
was still not familiar with the procedures and policies regarding vacating easements and
public streets. Please accept my sincere apologies for over looking this matter and feel
free to contact me if there is anything further that I need to do regarding this ordinance. I
am also sending a copy to the County Recorder's office.

An ordinance repealing and-reenaeing section- 8=2-36'of the 'CityCode of -Iona, Idaho relating `to water'_;
rate fees; the following monthly rates are hereby established for water service supplied by the City.
Single-family dwelling, apartment unit -per unit, and restaurants, $23.00 per dwelling; churches,
$160.00; ,schools, $600.00; daycare centers and grocery/convenience stores, $40.00; all other non -
metered customers per premises or building with -in City limits $23.00, outside City limits, $34.50.

An ordinance vacating a portion of Rainbow Lane, a public street located across the -frontage of Lot 4,
Block 5, according to the original plat of the Village of Iona, Bonneville County; Idaho, is not used or
needed for public purposes; the vacated property is conveyed back to the property owner. Effective July,
15, 2008

An ordinance amending sections 11-3-7, 11-4-9 and 11=5-8_of the zoning ordinance reducing. the .
required side and rear setbacks for accessory buildings to 5 feet in R-A, R-1 and R-2 zones. Effective
August 19, 2008.
City of Iona Ordinance 139-13 OS
An ordinance entitled the annual appropriations ordinance for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2008,
appropriating the sum of $820,600 to defray expenses and liabilities of the City of Iona for said fiscal
year, authorizing a levy of a sufficient tax upon the taxable property and specifying the objects and
purpose for which said: appropriation is made. The objects and purposes for which such appropriation is
made, and the amount of each object and purpose and estimated expenditures are as follows:

Equipment Replacement 80,000.00
WATER FUND:
