AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT TO THE
SAFE HOME INSPECTION CONTRACT - OFFICE ON AGING
WHEREAS, the Borough has entered into a Safe Home Inspection Contract
between the County of Middlesex Office on Aging and the Carteret Office on Aging;
and
WHEREAS, the amendments to the contract are as follows:
I The original contract termination date shall be extended from December 1,
1996 to December 31, 1999.
2 The amount of the total contract shall be decreased from $7,000 to $6,500.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Borough to execute said contract
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Borough Council that the Mayor
and Municipal Clerk are authorized to execute the Amendment to the Safe Home
Inspection Contract between the Borough of Carteret and the County of Middlesex
Office on Aging. This contract has been fi~nded with Community Development Block
Grant Funds (CDBG).
Adopted this 20th day of May, 1999
and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 21, 1999.
