April 30, 2019 Meeting Minutes
HCAM, Studio B, 77 Main St., 7:30PM
In attendance: Colleen Charleston, Amy Markovich, Mary Jo LaFreniere, Meena Bharath
Absent: Carole Nathan,,
Guests: Chuck Wallace
Call to Order by Colleen at 7:32PM
March meeting minutes were approved with correction to the last paragraph.(Meena made a
presentation of a website that she is working on with Josh, that could be used to launch on the
town website) Colleen made the motion, seconded by Meena,
unanimous vote.
Check request was signed for April payment of Senior fitness and last 2018 scholarship.
Meena reported that she met with Josh regarding the town web page and the committee presence
on it. Suggested the all members write a short bio to be placed there. Meena will email
examples for committee members to use. Social media can also be used.
Scholarship Applications were reviewed. There were 23 female and 19 male scholarship
applications. 3 female and 3 male were chosen. Female numbers were 23, 11, 17. Male
numbers were 14, 2, 10.
Thanks to Maria Glynn for collecting the applications and making copies for the committee to
review.
Next meeting is Tuesday, May 14 , 2019, at 7:30PM..
