PUBLIC HEARING
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 10, 2000 6:30 P.M.

The Greencastle Common Council met for a Public Hearing Tuesday, October 10, 2000, 6:30
p.m. at City Hall. Mayor Michael called the meeting to Order. On the Roll Call, the following
were found to be present: Councilor Roach, Councilor Hammer, Councilor Crampton, Councilor
Liechty and Councilor Rokicki. Also present was City Attorney Robertson and City Engineer
Morrow.
This Public Hearing is being held for the Community Focus Fund Grant for the West Side
Projects. Charla Wagle, Planning Grant Administrator, from C.J. Stewart was present and stated
the application is due the last day of this month and this public hearing is part of the application
process. Ms. Wagle also stated they are in the process of completing the wage survey and are
lacking approximately twenty responses.
• Engineer Morrow stated Request for Qualification from engineering firms have been received
with the scope of work to include west of Jackson Street (including Jackson Street), to the
viaduct north and to Sunset Drive on the south. The work will include curbs, sidewalks and
drainage. For the purposes of interviewing, the engineering firms have been narrowed down to
the following:
Civil Engineering
Hannum, Wagle and Cline
Samuel L. Moore and Associates
There were no public comments.
Motion to adjourn made by Councilor Rokicki, seconded by Councilor Hammer. Vote was
unanimous.
