MINUTES OF THE CROSBY PROPERTY COMMITTEE

1 ) Chair Joe Rego called the meeting to order at 11 :00 a . m . and conducted a roll call of attendance . Brian Locke
joined after roll call .

6 ) PROPERTY MANAGER REPORT : given by Brian Locke : Brian and Joe met with the contractors regarding the 3rd
cottage . Brian met with an architect firm and did a walk-through . Brian sent the proposed architect plans from P :

Muldoon . We need plans in place to get contractor quotes . Massachusetts building inspector requires drawings
and permits . Plans Include structural plans only, no details. Plans will include interior and exterior plans . Brian
checked online to compare costs of plans . The fee for the plans are $ 3, 620. The architect acts as the general
contractor. We also need to secure other sub contractors and proprietors, plumbers, electricians, etc. We can u a
these plans to help secure other contractors .
The roof is in good condition and the whole cottage has been gutted and ready for renovation .

Brian sent rental schedules and revenues to all members . Also sent reminders to renters about deposits being dL

Talked about money in Crosby account . Is going to send a spreadsheet to show that there is $35,000 for the fiscal
year pending expenses .

Diana Lamb asked about monies regarding rentals . Brian spoke about revenue lost due to Covid in 2020 .
8 ) Website : Peter will work with Kathy Lambert in creating a Crosby link on the town website . Brian cannot acces
website and need Kathy' s help . Left a message for Peggy, Nauset Garden Club, and Sandra Tubman, Brewster
Historical, because they use Constant Contact . Brian suggests that we invite Kathy to join our March meeting to
discuss .
A whole new website design is coming for the Town . Will CMS be an option for Crosby? All department heads wi
meet.
9 ) NEW BUSINESS : Joni Kosmach gave a report on the "Friends" . There are 22 members returning in some capacit
to help work on the mansion . Joan Dahlburg will be the new Volunteer Coordinator.
The " Friends" asked about signage in front of the Mansion . Can we make signage a priority? We need to look int
State, neighborhood, and Town regulations . First step to contact the town and DCR . Everything has to go througl
DCR and Brian will e- mail them . Cindy suggests. Brian contact Ryan Bennett in the planning department and look i
town and state regulations. Joe will call Jeanine at Cape Rep to ask how they went about getting their sign . Briar
will look at other sights ( Brewster Historical Society, Cape Rep, COA) to compare signage .
