We propose the following modifications to the existing agreement for Design Services
dated August 10, 2004 *and Supplement No. 1 dated February 10, 2005 *'This agreement
covers: * Contract No. 56-2004 ** Contract No. 22-2005
Right -of -Way Engineering
This task includes:
• Prepare land plat with property and proposed R/W take.
• Prepare description for the proposed Right -of -Way take.
• Prepare conveyance document for owner's signature.
_Property Owner Contacts to Solicit Donations
This task includes:
• Correspondence with owners to set an appointment.
• No more than one meeting with each property owner to explain the project and the
extent of Right -of -Way required, their rights during the Right -of -Way acquisition
process and to present donation documents.
• Also included is follow up correspondence necessary to obtain signatures on
donation documents.
Our supplemental fee request for these additional services to be performed by B&N staff is
itemized as follows:
Property Owner Contacts (for Donations only) ($ 500/parcel x 31 parcels) $ 15,500.00
Right -of -Way Engineering ($ 1,936.40 /parcel x 31 parcels) $ 60,028.40
Total for Supplement No. 2 (Right -of -Way and Donation contacts) $ 75,528.40
The attached table breaks the costs down by parcel and property owner.

This transmittal will serve as a letter form agreement to supplement the original agreement
and is subject to all of the conditions of the original agreement with the expanded scope of
work and modified fees outlined in this letter. Included are two copies of this letter form
agreement to amend our contract for the additional services. If you concur with these
changes please sign and return one copy of the agreement to us for our files. We will
consider the signed document as our notice to proceed with the additional work. Please
keep the other copy for your files.

NOTES: City of Richmond will record documents.
If donations cannot be obtained, and the City of Richmond desires B&N to complete the Right of Way
services in lieu of perfoming the tasks themselves, the previous r/w services fee schedule will be
vallid.
In the event donations cannot be obtained, the fee to obtain donations will be deducted from the total
acquisition fee from the previous fee schedule.
Fee to solicit donations includes: Correspondence with owners to set an appointment, one meeting
with property owners to explain the project and the extent of Right -of -Way required, their rights during
the Right -of -Way acquisition process and to present donation documents. Also included are follow up
correspondence necessary to obtain signatures on donation documents.
