MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF ASSESSORS
Date : February 9 , 2021 — Regular Session
Time : 4 : 30pm
Location : REMOTE PARTICIPATION
Remote Participants : Chair Belinda Eyestone ; Member G . Howard Hayes ; Deputy Assessor
James Gallagher
Call to Order ; Ms . Eyestone called the meeting to order at 4 : 30 pm .
Declaration of a Quorum : A quorum was present . All members were participating remotely
and confirmed that they could hear each other .
Meeting Participation . Statement : Mr . Gallagher readthe following meeting participation
statement ;
This meeting will be conducted by remote participation pursuant to Gov . Baker ' s March
2020 orders suspending certain Open Meeting Law provisions and imposing limits, on
public gatherings . No in-person meeting attendance will be permitted . If the Town is
unable to live broadcast this meeting, a record of the proceedings will be provided on the
Town website as soon as possible .
Mr . Gallagher was monitoring the public comment/question email address and confirmed that no
questions or comments had been received .
Regular Session
• Report of the Deputy Assessor : Mr . Gallagher gave a status update on the PK appraisers .
One appraiser is performing commercial property building permit inspections . The other two
appraisers are performing cyclical inspections ; one north of 6A east of Seaview and the other
on side streets off of Route 137 .
• Review and approve Regular Session Meeting Minutes — January 26 , 2021 ; Ms .
Eyestone moved to approve the January 26 , 2021 regular session minutes as presented . Mr .
Hayes seconded the motion . Roll call vote ; Hayes — Aye; Eyestone — Aye; approved
unanimously .
• Matters Not Reasonably Anticipated by the Chair : None
• Next Meetings ; February 23
• Executive Session (To comply with or act under the authority of any general or special law
or federal grant-in- aid requirements ; MGL Chap 59 Sec . 60 and MGL Chap . 214 Sec , 1B ) :
