HomeMy Public PortalAbout01-18-2001 BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, JANUARY 18, 2001 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2001, in the Community Room in the Municipal Building. Chairperson Bob Goodwin presided with Robin Henry, Bruce Metzger, and Assistant City Attorney Steve Rabe present. The following business was conducted: APPROVAL OF MINUTES No minutes to approve. CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT There were no claims for payment. CHANGE ORDER A. City Engineer, Bob Wiwi, presented Change Order #1 for the downtown parking garage renovation. The amount added is $2,860.00 making the new total $119,131.60. Metzger made a motion to approve, second by Goodwin and the motion was carried on a voice vote. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING A. Goodwin presented the Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Richmond and the Halfway House. Metzger made a motion to approve, second by Henry and the motion was carried on a voice vote. CONTRACTS A. Fire Chief Mike Allen, presented 3 contracts for annual maintenance on heating and air conditioning. Contract #3 —2001 is with Lowman Metal Shop Eaton, Ohio and the City of Richmond for station #1. Henry moved to approve, second by Metzger and the motion was carried on a voice vote. B. Contract #4 — 2001 is for station's #2,3,4,5 & 6 with Lowman Metal Shop, Eaton, Ohio and the City of Richmond for heating and air conditioning annual maintenance. Contract #5 —2001 is with A.R.M.S., Inc., Anna, Ohio and Richmond Fire Department, a contract for maintenance on fire apparatus. This is for an amount not to exceed $12,600. Metzger made a motion to approve, second by Henry and the motion was carried on a voice vote. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed, and carried on a voice vote, the meeting was adjourned.
