THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, DECEMBER 28, 2000.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5
p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2000, in the Community Room in the Municipal
Building. Chairperson Bob Goodwin presided with Bruce Metzger, Robin Henry
and City Attorney Bob Bever present. The following business was conducted:
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
There were no minutes
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
None
CURB CUT
A. Goodwin read a request for a curb cut at Salisbury Road for an access
permit for Interstate sign locations. Metzger moved to approve subject
to conditions of the City Engineers Office, second by Henry and the
motion was carried on a voice vote.
AGREEMENTS
A. Henry reported on the Major Medical Re-insurance Renewal Policy.
After a review of the policy by Keith Phelps, of Conseco Risk
Management, the office of Human Resources recommends that the
City continue its coverage with Lloyds of London. The contract will
come to the board at a later date for the president's signature.
Metzger moved to approve, second by Goodwin and the motion was
carried on a voice vote.
B. Bever presented the changes to the contract with the police bargaining
unit and the city administration. The contract will be presented at a
later date for signatures from this board. Metzger moved to approve,
second by Henry and the motion was carried on a voice vote.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed,
and carried on a voice vote, the meeting was adjourned.
