HomeMy Public PortalAbout11-09-2000 BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, NOVEMBER 9, 2000 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2000, in the Community Room in the Municipal Building. Chairperson Bob Goodwin presided with Bruce Metzger, Robin Henry and City Assistant Attorney Steve Rabe present. The following business was conducted: APPROVAL OF MINUTES Metzger moved to approve the minutes for October 26, 2000, second by Henry and Henry moved to approve the minutes for November 2, 200, second by Metzger and both motions were carried on a voice vote. CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT There were no claims for payment. REQUESTS A. Goodwin read a letter from Fire Chief Mike Allen asking for their participation in the Uptown Christmas Parade that will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2000 beginning at 11:00 A.M. Henry moved to approve, second by Metzger and the motion was carried on a voice vote. ACCESS PERMIT A. Goodwin read request for a curb cut at 721 Southwest "A" Street. Metzger made a motion to approve, subject to conditions by the Public Works and Engineering Department, second by Henry and the motion was carried on a voice vote. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed, and carried on a voice vote, the meeting was adjourned.
