Mayor Sternquist called the City Council Special Meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in
the Council Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue, Temple City.

ALSO PRESENT: City Manager Pulido, City Attorney Vail, and City Clerk Kuo

4. CLOSED SESSION
The City Council recessed to a closed session at 6:31 p.m.

The meeting reconvened at 8:52 p.m. with all Councilmembers present.
Council engaged in an evaluation of the City Manager. City Council voted 5-0 to
terminate the employment agreement of Jose Pulido effective January 13, 2014,
and place him on an administrative leave for 30 days as per his contract
commencing January 14, 2014. His last day of official employment would be
February 12, 2014, at which time, the City will pursuant to his contract pay him
six months of base salary as severance and also provide him any accrued
compensation that has not been paid out for which he is entitled to under the law.
During the 30 days administrative leave, Mr. Pulido will make himself available by
phone or email only.

The City Council's Regular Meeting was adjourned at 8:54p.m.
