SUBJECT: PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS-MEETING OF
JANUARY 8, 2014
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file the Public Safety Commission actions
from their meeting of January 8, 2014.
BACKGROUND:
On January 8, 2014, the Public Safety Commission held their regularly scheduled
meeting.
ANALYSIS:
Following is a summary of actions taken at the January 8, 2014 Public Safety
Commission meeting:
1. ROLL CALL:
Present: Commissioner-Clift, Haddad, Nimri, Vice-Chairman Redmond,
Chairman Stratis
Absent: Commissioner -None
Excused: Commissioner -None

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The Public Safety Commission approved the minutes of their December 11, 2013
meeting.
3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Public Safety Commission held seven hearings in person, upheld three
citations, and dismissed four citations.
The Public Safety Commission reviewed one hearing requested by written
declaration, and dismissed the citation.
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file this report.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-14 City Budget.
