AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH NAJARIAN ASSOCIATES
CARTERET RIVER WALK - PHASE 1
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized planning/engineering
services in connection with Carteret River Walk - Phase 1 in the Borough; and
WHEREAS, Najarian Associates, One Industrial Nay Nest, Eatontown, New Jersey
07724, possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
WHEREAS, Najarian Associates, has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a
total cost not to exceed $10,000.00 and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that foods are or will be available
for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal from Najarian Associates for planning/engineering services
in regard to Carteret River Walk - Phase 1, in the Borough at a total cost
not to exceed $10,000.00 is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to NAS.A 40A:11- 5(l)(a) in accordance with the Borough's Fair
and Open Process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing
Department and Najarian Associates.
