THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. 690
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND INCORPORATING A PORTION OF SECTION 21 INTO
THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,KANSAS.
WHEREAS,WHEREAS,Marjorie A. Wirth,who holds fee simple title to the real property
hereinafter described, desires the annexation of said real property into the corporate boundaries
of the City of Bel Aire,Kansas; and has requested the same in writing;
WHEREAS,the Governing Body of the City of Bel Aire,Kansas desires to annex said real
property into the corporate boundaries of the City of Bel Aire, Kansas;.
WHEREAS,in accordance with KSA 520(e) section(f);No resolution,notice and public hearing
required under the provisions of this section shall be required as a prerequisite to the annexation of
land owned by or held in trust for the city or any agency thereof or land all of the owners of which
petition for or consent thereto in writing.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE
CITY OF BEL AIRE,KANSAS:
SSECTION 1: Hereby certifies the land described below shares a common boundary with
the City of Bel Aire and is not currently part of the City of Bel Aire.
SECTION 2: The real property is legally described as:
The North Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 21, Township 26 South,Range 2 East of the
6th P.M. Sedgwick County, Kansas,EXCEPT that part lying North and West of Mopac ROW,
and EXCEPT the West 60 feet for road.
SECTION 3: The above described property meeting one or more of the conditions for
annexation prescribed in KSA 520(e) section(f), is hereby annexed and incorporated within the
corporate limits of the city of Bel Aire by this Ordinance.
SECTION 4: The officers, employees, and agents of the City of Bel Aire are hereby
authorized and directed to,take such action,expend such funds and execute such other
documents, certificates and instruments as may be necessary or desirable to carry out and comply
with the intent of this Ordinance.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall take effect and be in force after publication in the
official City newspaper.
