ARTICLE 4
AN ORDINANCE AMENDWG THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE OF
PLAINFIELD, ILLINOIS, RELATING TO INCREASING THE NUMBER OF LICENSES FOR
SCAVANGERS AND GARBAGE COLLECTORS FROM FIVE TO SIX.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE
OF PLAINFIELD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 4-162 of Chapter 4, Article 4 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village
of Plainfield is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows:
Aoplications: Applications for such license shall be made to the Village Clerk,
and shall be referred by him to the President and Board of Trustees; no such
license shall be issued except on order of the President and Board of Trustees.
No more than six such licenses shall be in force at any time in the Village.
ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT HEREWITH ARE HEREBY
REPEALED.
THIS ORDINANCE NUMBERED AS 1569, SHALL BE EFFECTIVE UPON ITS PASSAGE
AND APPROVAL.
