Sec. 8-278: AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY OWNED BY MATERIAL
SERVICE CORPORATION.
WHEREAS, the real estate hereinafter described is contiguous
to the Village of Plainfield and is not within the territorial
limits of any other municipality; and
WHEREAS, tre owners and at leas~c 51~ of the electors
residing on the territory hereinafter cescribed have petitioned
for annexation of the territory to the Village of Plainfield; and
WHEREAS, notices as required ?~-: statute have been served and
published, and a proper hearing has been held; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village of
Plainfield that said territory be annexed to the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, as follows:
Sec. 8-278-1: Territory Described. That the
following described tract of land herein called
territory, to--crit:
ATTACHED HERETO AND M.~DE A PART
HEREOF AS EXHIBIT "A"
be, and the same is hereby annexed to and declared part
of the Village of Plainfield, a Municipal Corporation.
Sec. 8-278-2: Village Limits Extended. That the
Village limits of the Village of Plainfield be, and the
same are hereby extended to include the above described
territory.
Sec. 8-278-3: Ordinance No. 1 Amended. That
Ordinance No. 1 of the Village of Plainfield be amended '
as follows:
That the limits of the Village of Plainfield shall be
extended to include the tract of land described in
Section 8-278-1 hereof.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.

This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance
No. 1584 and shall take effect upon its passage and
approval in accordance with the provisions of the
Statutes of the State of Illinois in such case made and
provided and the Village Clerk shah. certify two copies
of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the
annexed territory and file same in the Office of the
County Clerk and the Vi1l.age Clerk shall certify a copy
of this Ordinance together with an accurate map of the
annexed territory and record same in the office of the
Recorder of Deeds of said Will County.

NORTHERLY OF THE NORTHERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF ILLINOIS HIGHWAY
RDUTE 126 AND ALSO THAT PORTION OF THE ABOVE-DESCRIBED PROPERTY
