CITY OF RICHMOND. INDIANA.SEPTEMBER 10. 1997
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at a special session at 1 p.m.
2 Wednesday, September 10, 1997, in the Municipal Building in said City. Chairperson Bob Goodwin presided,
3 with Robin Henry and Bruce Metzger in attendance. The following business was had to-wit:

7 A. Captain John Farmer of the Traffic Safety Division presented to the Board a written request made by
8 Hazel Cox, respresentative of the Elizabeth Starr Neighborhood Association, for approval of a Block
9 Party in the 400 block of North 14th Street. The party is to be held from 6 to 9 p.m.today, Wednesday,
10 September 10. Captain Farmer said that is not a heavily traveled street and he recommended approval
11 of the request. Cox stated in her letter that pizza and orange drink will be served, adding that a pizza
12 driver had been robbed in that area and the association feels this is a way to help those drivers.

14 Metzger moved to approve the request, second by Henry and the motion was carried on a unanimous
15 voice vote.

19 There being no further business, on a motion duly made seconded and passed and carried on a unanimous
20 voice vote,the meeting was adjourned.
