A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, APPROVING
AN AMENDED FIRE RESCUE TRANSPORT FEE
SCHEDULE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 2-75 OF
THE VILLAGE CODE OF ORDINANCES; PROVIDING
FOR TRANSMITTAL; AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 2-75 of the Village of Key Biscayne (the "Village") Code of
Ordinances (the "Village Code") provides for the imposition of a Fire Rescue Transport Fee (the
"Transport Fee"); and
WHEREAS. the Village Fire Department recommends increasing the Village Transport
Fee, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 2-75(b)(2) of the Village Code, the Village
Council may amend the Transport Fee via Resolution and desires to adopt an amended Transport
Fee schedule as provided in the attached Exhibit "A;" and
WHEREAS, the Village Council finds that this Resolution is in the best interest and
welfare of the residents of the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE. FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Recitals Adopted. Each of the above stated recitals are hereby adopted,
confirmed and incorporated herein.
Section 2. Amendment to Fire Rescue Transport Fee Schedule. The Village
Council, in accordance with Section 2-75(b)(2) of the Village Code, hereby amends the
Transport Fee schedule as provided in the attached Exhibit "A."

Section 3. Transmittal. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized to transmit this
Resolution, in accordance with Section 4-7(d) of the Miami -Dade County Code of Ordinances to
the Miami -Dade County Consumer Services Department within 30 days after adoption.
Section 4. Effective Date. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon
adoption.
