A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE BULLIS ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO.
4011.67.964 AS BEING COMPLETE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
ENGINEER TO RECORD THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION
WHEREAS, on November 20, 2012, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood awarded the Bullis Road Improvement Project contract to Bannaoun
Engineers Constructors in the amount of $134,350; and
WHEREAS, the project started on March 26, 2013 and was completed on
July 22, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the project was funded with the Proposition C funds; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $126,552.70; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on July 22,
2013 and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans
and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the
Bullis Road Improvement Project Phase I, Project No. 4011.67.964 as complete
in accordance with contract documents; and authorizes the City Engineer to
record the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20`h day of August, 2013.
