B.As merely a point of information, Captain Farmer told Board members that the speed limit has been

course of time the signs have disappeared. Therefore, he said, signs will be placed for northbound
traffic just north of Sim Hodgin prior to the Newman's Hill area; for southbound traffic in the area of
North West J Street; and for southbound traffic in the area midway between North West J and Sim
Hodgin Parkway.

37th Street construction. He said those in violation will be cited, adding that speeding in a construction
zone automatically doubles the fine. He said the public will be reminded of the closing every morning
on the road and weather report broadcast. He also reported that signs are being placed in the newly
annexed portion of the City in the southeast part, noting that:all the annexed property is now urban
property and where the speed limit was once 40 m.p.h. it will now be 30 m.p.h. He said the people will
be informed of the change at first, before the citing begins. ` -
