Flynn, Town Clerk regarding an additional donation that has been received by the "Faire on the Square 2018" Committee. This donation was given to offset expenditures related to the "Faire on the Square 2018." Faire on the Square 2018 will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2018 and this is the nineteenth year of this event. I have also enclosed a copy of the September 6, 2018 correspondence detailing previous Council action regarding the "Faire on the Square 2018." Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 44, Section 53A, any expenditure of gifts of funds needs the approval of the Town Manager and Town Council. I respectfully request the attached Resolution approving this gift expenditure be placed on the September 25, 2018 Town Council Agenda for your consideration.
