Minutes of Public Hearing
Monday, March 8, 2021
The Brewster Old King' s Highway Regional Historic District Committee, acting under the Massachusetts
General Laws, Chapter 470, Acts of 1973 as amended, came to order at 7 : 00 pm virtually being recorded
at the Brewster Town Hall . Committee members present were Carol Appleton , Steven Bergquist, Jim
Trabulsie ( Chairman ) , Tom Turcketta , George Carey (Alternate ) , and Sara Provos (Senior Department
Assistant ) . Patricia Busch was absent .

Roof Mounted Solar Panels
■ Eric Barber of Rooftop Power Company attended the meeting on behalf of the homeowner .
■ Updated plans were presented which included twenty- nine ( 29 ) roof mounted panels on the rear
of the home .
■ No panels will be on the front of the home .
■ If additional panels will be added to the rear of the home, an Amendment will be filed .
■ Steven Bergquist was not in attendance during this application .
■ Tom Turcketta moved to accept as amended . Carol Appleton seconded .
■ All voted in favor .

Ocean Edge 2021 Front Lawn Activities
■ Thomas Devane, Project Director of Corcoran Jennison Company, Inc . discussed the proposal to
use the front lawn area of 2907 Main Street as was done last year and approved due to COVID-
19 . Ocean Edge would like to have these types of activities approved from the HDC to be done
without limitation . A Certificate of Appropriateness will need to be presented to the Committee .
