Committee members present were Carol Appleton , Steven Bergquist, Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ) , Tom Turcketta , George Carey (Alternate ) , and Sara Provos (Senior Department Assistant ) . Patricia Busch was absent . CONTINUEpHEARING H41 21-29 Jennifer and Derek Stevens, 93 Tower Hill Circle, Map 66 Lot 46 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Eric Barber of Rooftop Power Company attended the meeting on behalf of the homeowner . ■ Updated plans were presented which included twenty- nine ( 29 ) roof mounted panels on the rear of the home . ■ No panels will be on the front of the home . ■ If additional panels will be added to the rear of the home, an Amendment will be filed . ■ Steven Bergquist was not in attendance during this application . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to accept as amended . Crowley, 64 Nathans Pasture Way, Map 114 Lot 39 Dormer and Screened in Porch ■ Alex Mazzeo of Mazzeo Construction represented the homeowners . ■ The details of the project were reviewed by Alex Mazzeo . ■ Drawings presented were mislabeled , the plans with the dormer should state " proposed" . ■ No mulled windows . ■ Deck will have roughly one foot of open space under it . ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as amended . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor . H - 2- 21-49 Marjorie Kroeger, 160 Paines Creek Road , Map 36 Lot 22 Single Family Dwelling ■ Frank Federico of Avalon Building Systems represented the homeowner . ■ Mr . Federico reviewed the plans with the Committee . ■ Several committee members stated that the design does not appear appropriate for the district and the drawings need more detail . ■ Several items need to be addressed ; o Vinyl ' Siding o Windows— casings and no mulled allowed . o Details on Porch o Chimney o Aluminum on rakes o Elevations ■ Tom Turcketa moved to continue to the March 22, 2021 meeting . Steven Bergquist seconded . ■ All voted in favor . H - 2- 21-50 John Ferris, 138 Fiddlers Lane, Map 48 Lot 38 Addition ■ Theodore P . Streibert of Streibert Associates represented the homeowner. ■ Mr. Streibert reviewed the plans with the committee . ■ Outdoor shower is existing and will be refurbished with wood material . ■ Trim will be painted grey . ■ Landscaping to be used around screened in porch to cover open area under the porch . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to accept as proposed . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor . Tom Turcketta seconded . ■ Vote 4- 1-0 2 Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of March 8, 2021 Meeting H -2-21-52 James and Melody Woods, 117 Run Hill Road , Map 35 Lot 27 Ramp with Deck ■ This application was withdrawn per the request of the contractor . H - 2-21-53 John and Kathleen Galiney, 73 Brier Lane, Map 48 Lot 7 Single Family Dwelling ■ Peter McDonald of Peter McDonald Architect, LLC represented the owners . ■ Mr . McDonald reviewed the overall plans with the Committee . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to accept as presented . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor . W2-21-54 Glenn Knapik, 101 Swamp Road , Map 48 Lot 72 Deck, Windows and Doors ■ Glenn Knapik represented himself and reviewed the plans to renovate the existing home . ■ Propane tank will be buried . ■ Paint chip for color of home to be provided to the Building Department . ■ Tom Turcketta moved to accept as proposed . George Carey seconded . ■ All voted in favor. W2-21-55 Gregory and Carol Wiesel Trustees, 0 Stony Brook Road , Map 6 Lot 26 Single Family Dwelling ■ Jon Bowden of Pleasant Bay Homes represented the homeowner. ■ Mr . Bowden reviewed the plans with the Committee . ■ Additional detail needed ; o Vinyl siding o Posts on porch ( size and material ) o Specifications and sizes on windows and doors o Clarification on window on second floor o Detail of deck in rear of home o Updated site plan ■ Tom Turcketta moved to continue to the March 22 , 2021 meeting . Ocean Edge 2021 Front Lawn Activities ■ Thomas Devane, Project Director of Corcoran Jennison Company, Inc . discussed the proposal to use the front lawn area of 2907 Main Street as was done last year and approved due to COVID- 19 . Ocean Edge would like to have these types of activities approved from the HDC to be done without limitation . A Certificate of Appropriateness will need to be presented to the Committee .
