1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman LaPointe called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL AND DETERMINATION OF A QUORUM
Chairman LaPointe, constituting a quorum, at which time the following business
was conducted:
3. APPROVAL OF THE JUNE 5th, 2017 MEETING MINUTES
Motion: Made by Commission Member Ricky Head and seconded by
Commission Member Erick Sabin.
Motion carried 4-0
4. WORK SESSION ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION
A. Update on Gibson and Gibson property at Popplewell and Baker Blvd
Shai Roos with Stantec, presented three site development layouts for the
vacant land at the northwest corner of Popplewell and Baker Blvd..
B. General discussion on Baker Blvd Corridor Improvements.
Assistant City Manager Jason Moore presented the proposed improvements
along Baker Blvd.
5. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to section 551.071 of the Texas
Government Code (a/k/a the Texas Open Meetings Act), the commissioners
may meet in executive session at any time to receive advice from the City
Attorney on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the Commission
under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State
Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with the provisions of the Texas Open
Meetings Act.
None at this time.
6. SET THE DATE AND TIME OF THE NEXT REGULARLY SCHEDULED
COMMISSION MEETING
Tuesday September 5, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.
7. ADJOURN
With no further business to be discussed, Chairman LaPointe closed the meeting
at 7:02 p.m.
Motion: Motion was made by Commission Member Erick Sabin and
seconded by Commission Member Ricky Head.
Motion carried 4-0
