ORDINANCE NO. 5-2022
AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
THE CITY OF RICHMOND TO RECEIVE DONATIONS
WHEREAS, The City of Richmond, Indiana, has the option of accepting or rejecting donations for a
specific purpose; and
WHEREAS, The acceptance of a donation for a specific purpose constitutes the appropriation of such
property for the intended purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that all donations received by the Parks Department during the calendar year 2022 for the following
Richmond Parks and Recreation Department programs and uses to be held in 2022 shall be accepted and
gratefully acknowledged by the citizens of Richmond:
1. Bandshell 18. Hook-A-Kid
2. Celebration of Lights 19. JUKO
3. Clear Creek 20. Mary Scott Park
4. Community Sports&Rec. 21. McBride
5. CSX/Depot 22. Middlefork
6. Dog Park 23. Outdoor Movie Series
7. Egg Hunt 24. Pickle Ball
8. Elstro Plaza 25. Playground
9. Family Fun Fest 26. Repair and Improvement Fund
10. Farmer's Market 27. Richmond Senior Recreation Center
11. First Tee Program 28. Riverside Trail/NRHT
12. Freeman Park 29. Skate Park
13. Fright Night/Halloween Howl 30. Special Events Misc.
14. Frostbite 31. Springwood
15. Greenhouse 32. Summer Concert Series
16. Gorge 33. Veterans Park
17. Highland Lake Golf Course 34. WPS Donations •
