APPROVAL OF THE MAY 21, 2019 MEETING MINUTES Kelle Jones motioned to approve the minutes with a second from Erick Sabin. All approved. 3. PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION OF A ZONING TEXT AMENDMENT TO SUBSECTION 3.02, USE CHART TO DELETE FOOD PROCESSING AS AN ALLOWED USE IN THE BUSINESS PARK DISTRICT Kyle LaPointe recapped the City Council meeting he attended when the food processing SUP was considered for TexPac Protein. Michael Wilson, Kelle Jones, and Erick Sabin stated their concern that by taking away the option to grant an SUP might rule out the ability to accommodate a potentially good business. Mr. LaPointe made a motion to leave the Food Processing use as is without any adjustments. Michael Wilson made a second and all approved. A citizen addressed the commission regarding his concerns about how the city's animal ordinance specifies the number of horses allowed. The city attorney advised that the animal ordinance is outside the zoning ordinance and therefore cannot be addressed by P&Z. 4. EXECUTIVE SESSION No executive session was required at this meeting. 5. SET THE DATE AND TIME OF THE NEXT MEETING AND ADJOURN The commissioners scheduled the next meeting for July 23~d at 5:30pm and the meeting was adjourned at 5:47 pm.
