AMENDING & SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 254
ENTITLED "VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC" OF TIIE CODE
OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET
BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Borough Council of the Borough of Carteret (the
"Borough ") as follows:
Section I §254 -3b(2) is hereby amended and supplemented to include the
following after the "The" at the start of the second sentence of this
Paragraph: "Mayor, or in his absence, the ..." The balance of said
Paragraph shall remain unchanged.
Section 2 All ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with the provision of
this ordinance are hereby repealed limited to the extent of anv
such inconsistency.
Section 3 If any section, paragraph, sub - division, clause or provision of this
ordinance is adjudged invalid, such adjudication shall apply only to
the section, paragraph, sub- division, clause or provision so
adjudged and the remainder of this ordinance shall be deemed
valid and effective.
Section 4 This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication
according to applicable law.

reading.

cember 29, 2015 at approxi-
mately 6:00 P. M., Borough
