MINUTES OF THE CROSBY PROPERTY COMMITTEE

1 ) ChairJoe Rego called the meeting to order at 11 :03 a , m ,
2 ) Joe conducted a voice roll call and declared that a quorum is present

3 ) Joe Rego read the meeting participation and recording statements
4 ) There were no public comments j
.5 ) Motion to approve April 20, 2021 meeting minutes by Joni Kosmach , seconded by Diana Lamb ,
Approved 4 -Yes 0- No
6) CDC UPDATE : Cate O' Neill has the Instructions for the applicants, spoke to Donna Kalinick and
received the link to look at past approved applications , Cate looked at the Cobb House and Cape Rep
applications , Also looked at the Secretary of Interior Standards for rehabilitation which would require
matching up to Brian' s list of projects, minus the maintenance work . In Cate' s opinion, we would
qualify for funds ,
We would also need group support and letters from other town groups, The Historical Society had a
professional preservationist look over their application and wondered if we need to do the same , Joe
Rego had a meeting with the director of the Cape Cod Theater, Jeanine Perry , She offered to help us
with our application and answer questions we may have ,
Joe suggested that we need to specify the projects we want to Include on the application , Cate
pointed out that we also need to list contractors and their backgrounds ,

Joe will set up a meeting with Cate and Cape Rep . He will also reach out to Brian to get specifics on the
projects to be included on the application .
7 ) NEW BUSINESS ; Signage : Joni said that she and Brian are going to work up some prototypes for a
sign for the mansion . We will have them by the June meeting. The sign will be similar to the COA sign,
with basic information , i . e ( Crosby Mansion, yr , built, website ) , The sign will be placed near the road
In front of the landscape circle so as not to block the view of the mansion ,
The "Friends" are still wondering when the group will be allowed back in the mansion for work days ,
Joe will contact Peter to find out .
