Carteret was called to order by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman at 6:00
P.M., Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in the Council Chambers ,
Memorial Municipal Building, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New
Jersey.
Upon Individual Roll Call Vote the following were noted present:
Councilmember Vincent Bellino
" Dennis DiMascio
" Randy Krum
Susan Naples
Noted Absent were Councilmembers Jorge Diaz and Joseph W.
Sitarz.
Also noted present was Kathleen M. Barney, Municipal Clerk and
Robert J. Bergen, Law Director.
The meeting was opened with a minute of silent prayer and the
Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Daniel J. Reiman.
The Clerk stated that on January 5, 2015 the 2015 Annual Meeting
Notice was mailed to The Home News Tribune, The Star Ledger
and posted on the Bulletin Board. Notice was published in The
Home News Tribune on January 7, 2015 and The Star Ledger on
January 8, 2015.

ANAL unanimous affirmative vote of the four (4) Councilmembers
present the Minutes of December 3, 2015 were approved,
transcribed and engrossed by the Clerk.
%yor Reimn Mayor Reiman then said they need to amend the Agenda to
include Resolution 15 -261.
Attorney Bergen Attorney Bergen explained that this resolution is going to
authorize the Council to have the Public Hearing and Adopt their
2016 SID I AND SID II Budgets, by title, so we would not have to
read the entire budget. He then said to ask for a motion on the
resolution.

SID I and SID II Budgets which are Resolutions 15 -236 and 15 -239.
Attorney Bergen Attorney Begen said the process requires a Public Hearing just
like the normal budget and after that they can either adopt or
reject, whatever the Council sees fit.

December 29, 2015 the Budgets were finally adopted.

Kevin Urban asked if the Ritz Theatre is going to be demolished or Kevin Urban
renovated.
Mayor Reiman said there is a plan to save as much of the theatre % yor Reiman
as possible but the trouble the architects are having now is there
is no footings or foundation and after about one hundred (100)

the expansion. He said they are trying to salvage the interior roof
and molding as well as the steel trusses up in the roof.
