REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 2, 2009
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Strain called the regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning
Commission to order at 6:54 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 3200
Diana Drive.
Members present: Chairman Martha Strain, Ronny Region, Greg Klarich, Kellie
Starnes, and Curtis Whitfield (arrived late).
Members absent: Doug Guinn and Stacy Norton.
Others in attendance: City Attorney Tim Sralla, George Banker, Building Official,
and Matt Shaffstall, Economic Development Specialist.
Please note there was a disc error on the recording.
2. APPROVAL OF JANUARY 5, 2009 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
A motion was made by Member Region, and seconded by Member Klarich, to
approve the January 5, 2009 Regular Meeting Minutes as presented.
The motion carried by a vote of 4 - 0.
3. APPROVAL OF JANUARY 24, 2009 WORK SESSION MINUTES
A motion was made by Member Region, and seconded by Member Klarich, to
approve the January 24, 2009 Work Session Minutes as presented.
The motion carried by a vote of 4 - 0.
4. DISCUSSION ITEM: CHAPTER 90 "ZONING"

The Commissioners continued their discussion of Chapter 90 "Land Use Table".
5. SCHEDULE CHAPTER 90 "ZONING" WORK SESSION
A joint work session with the City Council was discussed with a tentative date of
Feb 24, 2009 at 5:45 PM.
6. PERSONAL APPEARANCES (CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
REGARDING NON-SCHEDULED ITEMS AFFECTING THE PLANNING
AND ZONING AFFAIRS OF THE CITY)
There were none.
7. COMMENTS AND REPORTS FROM THE COMMISSION
There were none.
8. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Commission, the meeting
was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
