JOINT MEETING WITH SELECT BOARD
MEETING MINUTES
Monday, July 12 , 2021 at 6: 00 pm
Brewster Town Office Building (virtual )
Select Board Chair Cynthia Bingham convened an in -person meeting of the Select Board at 6 : 00 pm with the following
members present : Mary Chaffee , Kari Hoffmann , and David Whitney . Ned Chatelain was not present . Also present : Peter
Lombardi , Town Administrator , Susan Broderick, Assistant Town Administrator participated remotely . Bingham declared that
a quorum of the Select Board was present .
Chair Paul Wallace convened a remote special meeting of the Planning Board at 6 : 02 pm with the following members
participating remotely : Roberta Barrett , Amanda Bebrin , Madalyn Hillis- Dineen , and Elizabeth Taylor, Charlotte Degen did
not participate . Also participating remotely : Lynn St . Cyr, Senior Department Assistant. Wallace declared that a quorum
of the Planning Board .
Pursuant to Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021 , this meeting will be conducted by in person and via remote means , in
accordance with applicable law. This means that members of the public body may access this meeting in person , or via
virtual means . In person attendance will be at the meeting location listed above , and it is possible that any or all members
of the public body may attend remotely . No in - person attendance of members of the public will be permitted , and public
participation in any public hearing conducted during this meeting shall be by remote means only .

6 : 07 PM INTERVIEW CANDIDATE( S) AND APPOINT MEMBER TO FILL PLANNING BOARD VACANCY

Candidate Mark Koch introduced himself to the boards and answered questions from both the Planning Board and Select
Board .
Motion by Chaffee to Appoint Mark Koch to the Planning Board . Second by Hoffmann . Vote : Whitney-aye ;
Hoffmann -aye ; Chaffee -aye ; and Bingham -aye . Vote : 4-0 -0 .
Motion by Hillis -Dineen to Appoint Mark Koch to the Planning Board . Second by Bebrin . Vote : Hillis -Dineen -
aye ; Bebrin -aye ; Barrett-aye ; Taylor-aye ; and Wallace -aye : Vote : 5 -0 -0 .
Bebrin and Bingham reminded Koch that he needed to be sworn in by the Town Clerk prior to the Planning Board ' s next
meeting .
The Planning Board adjourned at 6 : 20 pm and the Select Board continued meeting .
