Our rise to stardom from a small Long Island fireworks company to one of international prominence started with their Gold Medal Award at the 1979 _ Monte Carlo Fireworks Competition. This honor gained us our first inaugural Donna Grucei Butter fireworks program for Ronald Reagan in 1981. Then came the centennials of l'resident the Brooklyn Bridge in 1983 and the Statue of Liberty in 1986 - the largest 4th Genemtwn budget in the history of fireworks. In the 1990's the Grucci credits read like.a who's who from the country's largest national fireworks tour to over 50 cities sponsored by Lever Brothers: to our crowning achievement celebrating the Millennium in Washington,. D.C. featuring a waterfall of fireworks displayed from the facade of the Washington Monument - truly a once -in -a -lifetime experience! Ilonorahle Felix Grocer, .Ir As we moved forward into the new millennium, we were honored to produce the MenherO'Congress, Retired fireworks for both of President George W Bush's Inaugurations, the Grand ' C. i'0 Opening of Invesco Field in Denver, Colorado, the Asian Pacific Economic 4th Generatioa Cooperation in Shanghai, China and numerous New Years Eve: America's Party in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2002 we produced the fireworks for the Winter Olympic Games, displayed the first pyrotechnic rainbow ever created for MoMA in New York City, and the grand opening of the Seattle Seahawks' new stadium. We rang in 2003 in grand style with New Year's Eve at Times Square and for the Chinese New Year Celebration in New York City, and the Tate & Egg Live Series at the Tate Modern Museum in London England! We. also successfully', designed a "Wheel of Light" using PixelBurst® technology to celebrate the 150"' Anniversary of New York City's Central Park! 2004. proved to be another exciting year with state-of-the-art programs at the Pompidou Museum in Paris. France with artist Cai Guo-Qiang, Premier fireworks in Athens, Greece and again America's Party: Las Vegas. 2005 continued with major fireworks for President Bush's second Inaugural. We started 2006 with the Grand Opening. Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas, NV then we went to China for the Grand Opening of Wynn Macau Hotel & Casino. 2007 was the year of "Implosions" where we produced the final fireworks for the Stardust, Atlantic City Sands and -f the Frontier Casinos. 2008 produced our most amazing accomplishment with j the Guinness Book of World Records largest fireworks production for the Grand Opening of Palm Jumeriah Island and Atlantis Dubai in the UAE! Closest to home our hallmark accomplishment is the consecutive production of the last seven U.S. Presidential Inaugurations from Ronald Reagan in 1981 to George W. Bush in 2005. Phi! Gr iec! Our intention is to create for you a performance of beauty and excitement that will be remembered long after the event. We will bring to your program over 150 years of experience and attention to details, as well as our reputation to perform as promised. Anything less would not be keeping with the ideas and beliefs that we have based our organization upon. We will design the fireworks in color, special effect and multi -level scenes to entertain all segments of the audience. To maximize the sky theatre, we will create a 300' fire wall with all the Grand Illumination scenes. Then with deflection angling of the mid and high aerial shells, we will create a spectacular 400' to 1,000' colorful umbrella over the entire Village Beach waterfront viewing area: The concept for your program is to display the finest variety of international fireworks and special effect pyrotechnics in a style and manner that has made the Grucci name synonymous with World -Class firework performances. Three distinctive and exciting scenes are featured: the Opening, the Feature Presentation, and the Grucci Style Grand Finale. Each segment will contain it's very own unique features adhering to your program's theme as outlined in the pages to follow. The magical Grucci fireworks choreography is the catalyst that marries the two art forms of music and fireworks. We are the innovators and creators of this style of presentation, which affirrns why the Grucci's are the leader in the fireworks industry. To create the precise timing and effect of the fireworks actually dancing with the music in the night sky requires over eight hours of production for every minute of display time! With your input we select the desired music according to the program's concept. Then we prepare the timing sheets, synchronized to each second of every song. The fireworks are matched to the exact timing of the music, which sounds simple enough, but it borders on the impossible unless the exact timing of every shell is known. This also means that every shell must have its own mortar, be computer fired with the firing cues preprogrammed ona master multi -track tape. One track of this master tape is for the music that will be simulcast over the sound system or radio. Another track is to send the firing time -code out to the field to initiate the fireworks. These digitized media are professionally prepared according to our strictest specifications to maintain a flawless fireworks performance. As such, you can be assured that after our careful planning, design and choreography of the fireworks, that at show time, your fireworks program will be the frnest available in the world! Section -2 — Design Concept Everyone loves fireworks, from the youngest to .the. oldest. On hot. summer weekends, fireworks are the only entertainment that will draw everyone together to fill the family car and bring an entire community together. In order to meet and exceed the audience's expectation, we need to design not just a fireworks display, but a fireworks program. This program for the Village of Key Biscayne Independence Day Celebration from a marine barge off Village Beach is designed to not only entertain your audience, but to make them come back year after year. Through the use of readings, narratives, famous quotes and the music we will tell a story. An announcement will herald the start of the fireworks and tell of the grandeur to come. Right on note to the. National Anthem's "Rockets Red Glare" Red Star Shells will light up over the entire barge * offshore east of Village Beach. Recorded readings of John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, George W Bush, John Wayne and others will recap many of our nations proud moments and tug at the strings of our patriotic hearts. To nightcap the night's celebration, we will fire our world-renowned style; of the Grucci Grand Finale featuring full saturation firing of three inch to twelve inch high aerial shells creating a three level rainbow of color and thunder. Afterwards people will say... "That's probably the closest I'll ever get to the stars! * * * * * * * * * * 7k Page 2-2 ..'-. Section 2 - Design Concept: Opening; Body & Finale.: BROADWAY CURTAIN CALL OPENING: (3 4 minutes) The opening is like the beginning of a high drama movie: fast, intensive, and heart -pounding. It gets your attention quickly and foretells the grandeur to, follow. We begin with a flurry of color and thunder, filling the sky to a height of three hundred feet. Simultaneously a second level of specialty shells will be launched to create special effects rising above the barrage of color and thunder. Above all, large bursting chrysanthemums will cover the entire sky up to one thousand feet, creating a kaleidoscope of color and noise. MAIN ACT PRESENTATION.: (18 — 20 minutes) The feature presentation of the program will exhibit the finest assortment of domestic and international fireworks. Such as, the Alpha-Grucci "U -SA" shells and multi -pattern specialty shell bursting high above the audience. As the segments unfold, each brings an array of different effects displayed in a glorious style of multiple firings. All of these brilliant colors and special effects are used to reflect the mood and theme of the music while designer shells create the excitement, intensity and beauty that is the Grucci style. To conclude the main act, we will display a beautiful and powerful scene featuring our trademark shell — the Grucci Gold Split — Comet. Firing dozens of these shells, the comets as they burn, split and arch across the night sky, will leave behind them a sparking trail that creates a Golden Milky Way effect in the sky. GRUCCI GRAND FINALE: (3 — 4 minutes) From start to finish, the fire train provides a continuous lift and bombardment,, which is always rhythmically robust. Red, white and blue 3 inch star shells begin the color saturation. Peonies and chrysanthemums 4 inch star shells burst open one level higher. Next, thousands of flashing sateen reports. Then the heavy bombardment begins with our. main trumpeters — 3 inch Titanium salutes that quicken the tempo and rattle the sky at a stunning pace. All this is night capped with a starry umbrella of 6, 8, and 10 inch Golden Kamaru shells. When a Grucci World Class Grand Finale is finally over, youwill say, "This is probably the closest I'll ever get to the stars!"
