REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 6, 2008
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Strain called the regular meeting of the City of Richland Hills Planning
and Zoning Commission to order at 6:33 p.m., in the Council Chambers at City
Hall, 3200 Diana Drive, Richland Hills, Texas.
Members present: Chairman Martha Strain, Rick Whitfield, Ronny Region, Greg
Klarich, Kellie Starnes, and Stacy Norton.
Members Absent: Doug Guinn.
Also in attendance: Director of Community Develop Howard Gregory.
2. APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 8, 2008 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
A motion was made by Member Region, and seconded by Member Whitfield, to
approve the September 8, 2008 Regular Meeting Minutes, as presented.
The motion carried by a vote of 5 - 0.
3. BRIEFING BY CITY ATTORNEY REGARDING THE REQUIREMENTS
AND PROVISIONS OF THE TEXAS OPEN MEETINGS ACT, CONFLICT
OF INTEREST RULES, CITY ETHICS POLICIES, AND OTHER
PERTINENT LEGAL PROVISIONS
"Briefing by City Attorney regarding the Requirements and Provisions of the
Texas Open Meetings Act, Conflict of Interest Rules, City Ethics Policies, and
other pertinent Legal Provisions" was rescheduled to the November 3, 2008
regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission.

4. DISCUSSION ITEM: CHAPTER 90 "ZONING"
The Commissioners discussed items from Chapter 90.
5. PERSONAL APPEARANCES (CITIZEN PARTICIPATION
REGARDING NON-SCHEDULED ITEMS AFFECTING THE PLANNING
AND ZONING AFFAIRS OF THE CITY)
There were none.
6. COMMENTS AND REPORTS FROM THE COMMISSION
A workshop was scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Monday, October 20, 2008.
7. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Commission, Chairman
Strain declared the meeting to be adjourned at 8:03 p.m.
