A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF AN
APPLICATION FOR THE SMALL CITIES COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT TO THE FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR
FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2017.
WHEREAS, the City of Crestview desires to submit an application to
the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity for a Small Cities
Community Development Block Grant to benefit persons of low and
moderate income.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Crestview as follows:
1. That the City of Crestview hereby authorizes the filing of an
application for a Community Development Block Grant in the Economic
Development category, and
2. That the Mayor of the City of Crestview is hereby authorized to
execute all documents required in connection with the filing of said
application to be submitted on or before February 20, 2019.
THIS RESOLUTION PASSED THIS 11th DAY OF FEBRUARY 2019.
