A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA, REPEALING THE
PERSONNEL MANUAL; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF A NEW MANUAL;
PROVIDING FOR CHANGES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DAY.
WHEREAS: The Charter for the City of Crestview recently changed
creating a City Manager to have oversite over all employees, and
WHEREAS: The City of Crestview seeks to provide a clear and concise
means for employees to know and understand what is expected of them; and
WHEREAS: The City of Crestview wishes to adopt a new Personal
Manual; and
WHEREAS: The City of Crestview wishes to establish a method for
making changes to the policy,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF CRESTVIEW THAT:
Section 1. All previous employee manuals are hereby repealed
Section 2. The Employee Manual dated July 15, 2019 is hereby adopted.
Section 3. From the adoption of this resolution forward, the City Manager is
hereby granted the authority to make changes to the Manual provided all
employees are properly notified.
Section 4. The City Manager shall present to the City Council for review any
changes made to the Employee Manual not less than once per year.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This resolution shall be effective August 1, 2019.
