A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA ("CRA"), REPEALING THE ADOPTED
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY PROCUREMENT
MANUAL; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION AND USE OF THE CITY OF
CRESTVIEW PURCHASING MANUAL FOR THE CRA; PROVIDING FOR
FUTURE UPDATES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DAY.
WHEREAS: The Florida legislatur8 has recently adopted new
legislation governing certain procedures for local community redevelopment
agencies in Florida to be effective as of October 1, 2019; and
WHEREAS: That legislation includes the requirement that each community
redevelopment agency use the same purchasing processes and requirements
that apply to the county or municipality that created the agency; and
WHEREAS: The City of Crestview Community Redevelopment Agency
previously adopted and currently uses a separate Procurement Manual for
the CRA;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF CRESTVIEW THAT:
Section 1. The current Crestview Community Redevelopment Agency
Procurement Manual be repealed.
Section 2. The City of Crestview Purchasing Manual be adopted as the
official Purchasing Manual of the Crestview Community Redevelopment Agency.
Section 3. From the adoption of this resolution forward, any changes to
the City of Crestview Purchasing Manual shall also be effective for the Crestview
Community Redevelopment Agency.
EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution will be effective immediately upon
its adoption by the Board of Commissioners of the Crestview Community
Redevelopment Agency.
