Committee members present were Carol Appleton , Steven Bergquist, Jim Trabulsie ( Chairman ) , Tom Turcketta , and Sara Provos ( Senior Department Assistant ) , Patricia Busch and George Carey were absent . CONTINUED; APPLICATIONS , H -2-21-49 Marjorie Kroeger, 160 Paines Creek Road, Map 36 Lot 22 Single Family Dwelling ■ Frank Federico, Designer/Project Manager of Avalon Building Systems represented the homeowner , ■ Siding will be wooden clapboard with 4" exposure . ■ Windows will be 1X4 flat casing with sills . ■ Deck will be 12X16 installed on the right gable end of the home . ■ Chimney will be faux brick veneer in red . ■ Steven Bergquist moved to accept as presented . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H -4- 21- 102 Dion and Nancy Dugan, 1543 Main Street, Map 48 Lot 68 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Abe Boyle of My Generation Energy represented the homeowners . ■ James Trabulsie abstained from hearing this application as he is a direct abutter. ■ Tom Turcketta , Vice Chair facilitated the review of this application . ■ My Generation Energy would like to install thirty-three ( 33 ) roof mounted solar panels on the south facing side of the detached garage . r ■ Mr. Boyle noted that the panels are visible from 6A / Main Street . i 2 i I Brewster Historic District Committee / Minutes of April 12, 2021 Meeting ■ Sara Provos read into record a letter from abutter Don Arthur and Mary Chaffee in favor of the project . ■ The Committee members feel the panels do not meet minimal visual impact . ■ Carol Appleton moved to deny the application . Steven Bergquist seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H -4-21- 103 Laurel and William O' Connor, 38 Jediah Lane, Map 78 Lot 54 Roof Mounted Solar Panels ■ Deirdre LaPira of Freedom Forever Solar represented the homeowners . ■ Installation of the solar panels will have no visual impact on the area . ■ Steven Bergquist moved to accept as presented . Carol Appleton seconded . ■ All voted in favor. H -4- 21- 104 Phillipa Greenwood , 0 Blueberry Pond Drive, Map 89 Lot 46 Single Family Dwelling ■ Jim Hagerty of Reef Builders discussed the plans for the new Single- Family Dwelling . ■ Windows will not be mulled . ■ Windows will be a dark bronze color, not white as originally outlined on the specification sheet , ■ Tom Turcketta moved to accept as amended . Steve Bergquist seconded . ■ All voted in favor. 5-4-21- 105 Jane Potter Trustee, 1069 Main Street, Map 37 Lot 62 Sign ■ Amanda and Tom DeOlivera , tenants at the property noted above were present at the meeting . ■ Letters on the sign will be between 3" and 4" . ■ Carol Appleton moved to accept as presented . Steve Bergquist seconded . ■ James Trabulsie abstained from voting on this application , ■ All voted in favor. ■ Vote 3 -0- 1 i H -4- 21- 106 Ocean Edge Resort LLC, 2907 Main Street, Map 90 Lot 160 Shade Sails, Tents and Sheds ( Front Lawn Activities) j ■ Thomas Devane, Project Director of Corcoran Jennison Company, Inc . represented Ocean Edge Resort LLC. ■ Two sheds will be located on the front lawn of 2907 Main Street and will be moved at the end of the season . ■ Mr. Devane noted that there will be a total of seventeen ( 17 ) shade sails . ■ Chairman Trabulsie requested that the shade sail that is closest to Main Street be moved back closer to the mansion , i ■ A permanent pergola ( 3 in total ) made of Azek material will be installed as detailed on the site plan . ■ Faux boxwood panels will not be used . i ■ Steven Bergquist moved to accept as amended .
