THE RESIDENCE, WHEN CONSTRUCTED, WAS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE SETBACK
REQUIREMENTS IN FORCE AT THE TIME. SUBSEQUENTLY, THE SIDE INTERIOR SETBACK
WAS INCREASED TO 15 FEET, MAKING THE STRUCTURE NONCONFORMING AS TO SIDE
SETBACKS. THE PRESENT NONCONFORMITY WAS NOT SELF - INFLECTED. BUT WAS
CREATED BY THE CHANGE IN SETBACK REQUIREMENTS.
IT IS INTENDED THAT THE PROPOSED ADDITION, WHEN COMPLETED, WILL APPEAR TO
HAVE BEEN A PART OF THE EXISTING STRUCTURE IN ITS LOCATION, ALIGNMENT,
