3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS
The Transportation and Public Safety Commission reviewed two hearings
requested by written declaration. The Commission upheld one citation and
dismissed one citation.
4. NEW BUSINESS
A. ANALYSIS OF TRAFFIC CONDITIONS ON MUSCATEL AVENUE
BETWEEN LONGDEN AVENUE AND LAS TUNAS DRIVE IN TEMPLE
CITY
The Commission reviewed the Muscatel Avenue Engineering and Traffic
Survey. They recommended that the City Council adopt the traffic survey
and implement the proposed improvements in two phases.
B. DISCUSSION REGARDING PARKING CONCERNS NEAR THE
INTERSECTION OF PRIMHOSE AVENUE AND WORKMAN AVENUE
The Commission discussed the parking concerns near the intersection of
Primrose Avenue and Wmkman Avenue. They directed staff to conduct a
parking study.
C. DISCUSSION REGARDING PARKING TIME LIMITS IN THE CITY
PARKING LOT BEHIND 9Ei27 LAS TUNAS DRIVE
The Commission discussed the parking time limits in the City Parking lot
behind 9627 Las Tunas Drive. The Commission decided that current time
restrictions allow for sufficient transitional parking.
D. DISCUSSION REGARDING BACK-IN PARKING ORDINANCE
The Commissioned reviewed the City's back-in parking ordinance. They
directed staff to conduct a study of nearby cities with a similar ordinance.
CONCLUSION:
The City Council is requested to receive and file this report.

This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-14 City Budget.
