improvements (e.g., sanitary sewer, water system, street tree, and/or road
improvements) are completed in accordance with approved plans. After the
improvements are completed by the developer, the City is notified by Los Angeles
County Department of Public Works that the improvements have been completed,
inspected, and found to be in compliance with the approved plans. Then , the City
Council must approve the work that has been completed, accept the improvements for
public use and maintenance and approve the release of the deposited securities.
CONCLUSION:
The developer (i.e., Chao Di Su) submitted a Certificate of Deposit in the amount of
$1 ,500 to ensure that street tree improvements were completed at Parcel Map No.
067584. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Works notified the City that the
street tree improvements were completed, inspected and found to be in compliance
with the approved plans (Attachment "A"). Hence, the City can now release the
Certificate of Deposit.
FISCAL IMPACT:
This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-2014 City Budget.
