A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING A MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH LEVERAGE
INFORMATIONS SYSTEMS FOR MAINTENANCE COVERAGE OF 26 VIDEO
SURVELLANCE CAMERAS IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
WHEREAS, the City has 26 video surveillance cameras installed
throughout the community for public safety; and
WHEREAS, these video surveillance cameras have proven to be a
benefit to the community; and
WHEREAS, all -video surveillance cameras require maintenance from
time to time to assure proper working order; and
WHEREAS, Section 6-3.13 of the Lynwood Municipal Code allows for the
exception of the bidding process when the supplies, equipment services or
contract be obtained from only one source. Due to the technical provisions
required for these cameras to operate under the existing infrastructure at the
Century Sheriffs Station staff is requesting the City Council approve the •
maintenance contract with Leverage Information Systems.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYWODD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the agreement for video
surveillance camera maintenance in a form approved by the City Attorney.
Section 2. That the contract for the agreement for the maintenance be
awarded to Leverage Information Systems in the amount of $32,689.99.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this City
Council Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5m day of November, 2013.
