BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE
CITY OF RICHMOND. INDIANA.
FEBRUARY 4. 1993
1 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session on Thursday,
2 February 4, 1993, in said City.Janet Hibner presided with Earnest Jarvis and Dennis Grimes in attendance.The
3 following business was had to-wit:

5 APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF JANUARY 28.1993

7. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved on a motion by Grimes, second by Jarvis and carried on a
8 unanimous voice vote.

10 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT

12 Claims submitted by the City Controller for payment were $123,983.27 which included $98,024 for health
13 insurance claims. Grimes moved to approve the claims, second by Jarvis and carried by a unanimous voice
14 vote.

16 REQUESTS

18 Jarvis read a request submitted by Fire Chief James Sticco for the use of 11 spaces on the Muncipal Building
19 parking lot from 6 a.m. Friday, March 5, 1993, until 12:00 midnight Sunday, March 7, 1993,for the National Fire
20 Academy parking. Jarvis recommended approval of the request noting that spaces could be blocked off and
21 visitor passes be issued by Sticco,second by Grimes and carried by a unanimous voice vote.

25 Grimes moved that the H.J. Umbaugh &Associates contract with the City of Richmond for TIF advice listed on
26 the agenda be tabled,second by Jarvis and carried by a unanimous voice vote.

30 There being no further business,on a motion duly made,seconded and passed the meeting was adjourned.
