I have not sent a reply to the city yet; Let me know what you think. Carolyn called and ask if question #6 should be answered by the city's legal counsel, instead of our legal counsel. Good answers. With reference to the last question, we should recognize that the farmers want free water and they could care less about effluent at that time of the year. Everyone else in the US pays for water for their land. The farmers in question need to start thinking about the problem differently. In the short term, this agreement with the city would replace Simplot --end of argument. In the long term, we at PLWSD are not in the business of subsidizing farmers. If the city wants to do that, that is their business but we should not participate. Bill Dale Caza Operations Manager Payette Lakes Recreational Water & Sewer District 208-634-4111 PLWSD020442
