Chair Andy Miller called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m.

2. Approval of Agenda:
Commissioner Soles moved, and Commissioner Gnuse seconded the motion to approve
the amended agenda moving the minutes of October 24, 2018 to the last discussion item.
Motion carried: 5-0.

4. Public Hearing:
a. Meyers Lot 1 and 2, Ski Broker and Sumrall Height Variance
The applicant is requesting a variance on four properties all located within the Business
(B) zone district. All properties are south of Highway 40 (Zerex Street) located along
County Road 72, Old Victory Road, or Highway 40. These properties vary in size with
Meyers Lot 1 being 11.40 acres, Meyers Lot 2 at 8.32 acres, Ski Broker at .87 acres, and
Sumrall at 5.00 acres. These properties are situated between a number of commercial
and retail developments to the North, South and East. To the West is primarily vacant
land. All properties including the Planned Developments in this area have a height limit of
forth -five (45) feet or less.
Commissioner Quinn moved, and Commissioner Soles seconded the motion to open the
public hearing. Motion carried: 5-0.
The applicant requested a continuance of the public hearing. The Board denied the
continuance.

Proof of publication was provided in the packet. Layla Rosales, Scott Albertson and Clark
Lipscomb presented to the Board and answered questions.
Public Comment was taken from: Robert Coffman, Rusty McInnis, Jed Henry, Shannon
Ellis, Cassie Grenier, Brook Bretz, Vick Derks, Greg Bechler, Karin and Eli Ellis, Andrew
and Kristine Tucker, Tammy and Mark Hefrin.
Commissioner Soles moved, and Commissioner Bowles seconded the motion to open
the public hearing. Motion carried: 6-0.
5. Discussion And Possible Action Regardinq:

Commissioner Soles moved, and Commissioner McCoy seconded the motion to deny
BOA Resolution 2023-09-01 - Meyer Lot 1. Motion failed: 6-0.
b. BOA Resolution 2023-09-02 - Meyer Lot 2
Commissioner McCoy moved, and Commissioner Soles seconded the motion to deny
BOA Resolution 2023-09-02 - Meyer Lot 2. Motion failed: 6-0.
c. BOA Resolution 2023-09-03 - Ski Broker
Commissioner Soles moved, and Commissioner McCoy seconded the motion to deny
BOA Resolution 2023-09-03 - Ski Broker. Motion failed: 6-0.

Commissioner McCoy moved, and Commissioner Bowles seconded the motion to deny
BOA Resolution 2023-09-04 - Sumrall. Motion failed: 6-0.

Commissioner Soles moved, and Commissioner Gnuse seconded the motion to approve
the Minutes from October 24, 2018. Motion carried: 6-0.
