A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE BULLIS ROAD WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT,
PROJECT NO. 4011.67.925, AS BEING COMPLETE AND AUTHORIZING THE
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS/CITY ENGINEER TO RECORD THE NOTICE
OF COMPLETION
•
WHEREAS, on December 4, 2012, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood awarded the Bullis Road Water Main Improvement Project contract to
J.A. Salazar Construction and Supply Corporation, in the amount of $448,035;
and
WHEREAS, the project started on January 28, 2013 and was completed
on March 22, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the project was funded by the Water Fund; and
WHEREAS, the final construction cost is $478,165.93; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff conducted the final inspection on June 5,
2013 and found that all work is complete in accordance with the project plans
and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood accepts the
Bullis Road Water Main Improvement Project, Project No. 4011.67.925, as
complete in accordance with contract documents and authorizes the Director of
Public Works/City Engineer to record the Notice of Completion.
Section 2. This Resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption of this
Resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of November, 2013.
