Penman, Interim City Manager Via: Bryan Ariizumi, Public Safety Supervise~ .A-.- By: Jonathan Aceves, Community Preservation Officer ~7 \ SUBJECT: TRANSPORTATION AND PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION ACTIONS- MEETING OF MAY 7, 2014 RECOMMENDATION: The City Council is requested to receive and file the Transportation and Public Safety Commission (Commission) actions from their meeting of May 7, 2014. BACKGROUND: On May 7, 2014, the Commission held their regularly scheduled meeting. ANALYSIS: Following is a summary of actions taken at the May 7, 2014 meeting: 1. ROLL CALL: Present: Commissioner-Clift, Haddad, Nimri, Vice-Chairman Redmond, Chairman Stratis Absent: Commissioner -None Excused: Commissioner-None 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Commission approved the minutes, as amended, of their April 23, 2014 meeting. City Council June 3, 2014 Page 2 of 2 3. PARKING CITATION HEARINGS The Commission held six hearings in person, upheld three citations, and dismissed three citations. The Commission reviewed three hearings requested by written declaration and upheld the citations. CONCLUSION: The City Council is requested to receive and file this report. FISCAL IMPACT: This item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year (FY) 2013-14 City Budget.
